It Finally Came

The long awaited first soccer game of Jack's life! He has been so excited as have we all. Here he is with his great friend Luke getting ready to go. The team plays with 4 people on the field at a time, no goalie, and the coaches, just referee and help teach the kids as they play. Luke's Dad and our friend Casey is their coach and he did a great job keeping the kids going out there. They have little pop-up goals at each end and the kids just go. It was so cute and fun to watch.

Here is Jack on the move just after kicking the ball. I know that I need to get him some soccer socks.

So they don't care, they even fight their own teammates for the ball, and even if they are girls!:) Jack actually was really great, he scored one goal and had a lot of fun. He did get knocked down a couple of times and there were a few tears, but not many.

Jack with a corner kick, just as Rob yells.."bend it Jack"...maybe in a few years!:) They actually just try and stop the kids from picking the ball up with their hands, which happened a lot, and teach them a few rules of the game. There is no off-sides, and no real penalties, it is fun and a great way to introduce the little ones to playing on a team.

Sniff, Sniff

Jack started pre-school today!! Here are just a few pictures from our morning.

When I picked him up, he was all smiles and was excited to go back. I only shed a few tears and none of them at the school, only driving away. I sure do love that little boy!

I Love This

Cameron is turning into a big boy. He is almost ready to crawl but then he decides that all he wants to do is stand up. He is starting to take a few steps as we hold his hands and really just loves to stand next to this table and pull out the toys that are inside.

What I am really excited about is that he is holding his own bottle! I love it and it gives me some extra time to get a couple of things done.

I Can't Get Enough!

I really can't get enough of this little one's blue eyes! The messy face is thanks to a delicious strawberry that Cameron just loved. He is loving almost anything except baby food now a days. He is eating so well and picking food up off of his tray and it is making it into his mouth. He says Mama and is working on Dada. He loves me to hold him, and is most content when he is sitting on my lap playing with his toys in front of him. He still loves Jack and anything Jack is playing with Cameron thinks is the greatest. He loves sitting outside and loves it when his Daddy tickles him with his beard. He is almost 8 months and I do not know where the time has gone. Love you Cameron!

A Visitor

My brother Garrett was in town a couple of weeks ago and it was so great to see him. He stopped over in SLC on his way home from a recruiting trip, he is the assistant men's golf coach at the Univ. of Washington, go Dawgs! It has been over a year since I have seen him which is just crazy so needless to say we were thrilled he could spend a couple of nights. He was able to meet Cameron in person for the first time which was fun. We just enjoyed being together and laughed and laughed for a long time, it was great, and we really missed our sister Ally!:)
What I am really excited about though is for Garrett and his entire family who are coming to visit us in a few weeks...Yipee!!

Best Buds!

I just LOVE this picture. Jack and his cousin Henry are best little buddies. My sister Nikki came and stayed at my house and watched the boys while Rob and I were at girls camp and Jack just loved every minute of it. I asked him if he missed me and he very easily said no. Good to know that you can leave your kids and they not even miss a beat. Even little Cam slept through the night for her!:)
