Sammers

Rob took these pictures of Sam Poulton one of Jack's cousins and I thought they were so cute. Sam is so smily and never met a camera he didn't like, although his Dad would say he only likes Nikon's. So John I think that we proved you wrong with that, Sam smiles just as cute for a Cannon as he does a Nikon eh??

Gateway Discovery Museum

We went to the Discovery Museum at the Gateway Mall in Salt Lake City with Jack and his cousins and it was a lot of fun. There is a great area with tons of balls, a fun play in the water area, and also a great helicopter up on the roof top that even makes sounds like it is taking off. It is kind of pricey, but Grandpa took care of that. Thanks Grandpa and Grandma Annie!:)

Musik Garten

Jack and I have taken a Musik Garten class since last September each Wednesday morning and it has been so much fun. It is just a half hour and we sing and play with different props, and Jack really loves it. A couple weeks ago we had a family night where we could invite more people to come and watch. Amy Ashton Leishman is our teacher and she is so great we just love it! We love it so much that we are actually doing a short summer session at my house in Bountiful with Amy. I asked if she would be willing to come to Bountiful if we got enough people and she was up for it and we are so excited.

Jack's True Love

My young son still has a couple of vices that we are dealing with one is the binky, or "bitty" as he calls it and the other is that he still takes a bottle 2 times a day when he is going down for his nap and then when he goes to sleep. We have begun to limit the binky time and try only to give it to him when he is going to bed and so far I think we are doing pretty good with that. He asks for it less and less and gives it up easier each time. I have to admit that I have not tried to take the bottle away yet, I figure one thing at a time, but as you can see from these pictures Jack really loves his bottle. I would love to say that he is running towards me with his arms open smiling so big because he is so excited to see me, but actually it is his bottle that he is this excited to see. Avent bottles full of milk heres to you!

Jack meet Jimmy

Last Saturday was a first for our little Jack, he went on his first horseback ride. He was a little nervous at first but he got on the horse with Grandma Annie first and then rode with Mommy & Daddy for a while. We were out in Lehi at my aunt Kathryn's farm where my Mom's horses live. Kathryn also has a few cats which have just had kittens and those were also fun to hold and play with. Jack wasn't as into the cats, as he was jumping on Kathryn's trampoline. It was a fun day!
