From Paris With Love

Our friend and Rob's boss Ivan was just in Germany for a work conference and on his way home he has a long layover in Paris. He was too kind to us and brought us home a little treat. I opened the bag to find this adorable box and I was wondering what was inside....
these amazing looking and incredibly delicious cookies. Have you ever eaten cookies out of such an adorable box. I just loved it. Thanks Ivan!

Sledding In Bountiufl

I have lived in Bountiful for a long time now and I have never gone sledding on this hill that we went to last week. It is just off 400 N. and about 600 E. on some church property. It is the best hill and I don't think we will try to go anywhere else.
Rob and Cam enjoying being outside. Well at least one of them is!
Jack absolutely loved it and he is getting so brave. I have to let go and let him try things for himself now and make sure that I don't put my little fears on him. He was very brave and set the record for the longest yardage gained in a single sled.
I can't believe Cam is actually smiling because we had a bit of a roll over on our last trip down and he got a face full of snow. Sorry Cam.
Here he goes off one of the little jumps that was on the hill.
I am finding myself wanting more snow!

Cabin Fun

We headed up to the cabin this past weekend and had a great time. Rob's brother Steve and his girlfriend Erika came with us for a night, and it was great fun to have them.
Jack caught Rob enjoying one of his favorite cabin pastimes. Napping.
One of my favorite things is the great fires that we get to enjoy, so toasty warm when it is snowing outside.
We drove to Bear River State Park to see what was there. There were a few of these enormous Elk, and a fun sledding run. The sledding turned out to be just ok,
and while Jack and Rob tried sledding, Cam and I hung out in the car
and read books.
Later on Saturday we had a great time pulling the boys on the sled behind the 4-wheeler. This is the view from the sled, my only picture really. Jack loved it and Cam not so much. Rob held Cam on the sled in case you were wondering if we put our 1 year old all alone. The conditions were perfect 4-5" of new snow on the road, and no cars coming in and out. Hopefully we can do this again soon! Rob and Jack also had a great time snowshoeing in the backyard but no pictures of that.
And how do we top of an afternoon of fun in the snow??? By eating popsicles what else?

Ski Bunny

I am so proud of Jack! I went skiing with him this afternoon and he did great! It was a beautiful sunny day and I didn't have to help him at all, except for the occasional fall and on and off the lift. He loves to go skiing and it is so fun to see him start to really get the hang of it. He even went on some jumps!:)
Way to go Jack Jack!
Here we are on the lift. I do have to do something about that helmet of his.

Mommy's Little Helper

One of Cameron's new favorite activities is vacuuming. He loves it and so he has to take a turn.
A pretty cute little guy, but I still have work to do on improving his vacuum skills.

We're Walking We're Walking

Cameron is really taking off. He has been walking since the first of the year and everyday he seems to be stronger. He still kind of waddles when he walks, it is cute. This video also features another favorite of Cam's shooting the blasters. He just wants to be like his big brother who does that ALL DAY LONG.
