Happy Birthday Nanna!
We decided to celebrate Nanna's birthday when the whole family could be together, so we had a fun BBQ on July 3rd and then watched a great fireworks show in Centerville. These are just some fun pictures from the night, and the next day at the Centerville Parade. As you can see Nanna got an i Pod Shuffle to listen to music, and Jack had a lot of fun playing with Steve on the swings, and he even got Grandma Flandro to play tennis with him!

Owwieeeeeeeeeee
So it is summer and I am sure that my son is no different than many other kids in the fact that everyday he gets a few more scratches, bumps, bruises, cuts, etc. Well we have a routine when he hurts himself, I kiss it better, and then he usually tries to kiss it better and we blow on it and generally apply Neosporin liberally! Well one morning I was getting my oatmeal out of the microwave and I accidentally dropped the bowl and some of the hot oatmeal splashed onto Jack's feet and it burned him a bit. I felt really bad and he was ok, but as you can see from the picture below we put this "boot" on him to keep it cool. He kept this on his foot for a long time, like over an hour! He even wore it visiting teaching with me. So funny!
Tee Ball
Jack has many balls to play with but I have hesitated to buy him things to swing at the balls, because I am afraid of the damage that could potentially be done. We broke down a few weeks ago and bought a tee, and a bat for him to play with. He loves it and is only getting better. I am working with him on his swing and it is coming along!:)

Sammers
Rob took these pictures of Sam Poulton one of Jack's cousins and I thought they were so cute. Sam is so smily and never met a camera he didn't like, although his Dad would say he only likes Nikon's. So John I think that we proved you wrong with that, Sam smiles just as cute for a Cannon as he does a Nikon eh??
Gateway Discovery Museum
We went to the Discovery Museum at the Gateway Mall in Salt Lake City with Jack and his cousins and it was a lot of fun. There is a great area with tons of balls, a fun play in the water area, and also a great helicopter up on the roof top that even makes sounds like it is taking off. It is kind of pricey, but Grandpa took care of that. Thanks Grandpa and Grandma Annie!:)
