Random Update

On St. Patricks Day we went to the Discovery Children's Museum at Gateway. It is a fun place and Jack loves it and I especially loved it on St. Patricks Day because it was free!
Here are some updated house pictures. The top picture is from the back and the next from the front. We still obviously need to pain the outside but that is coming. They are finishing up painting on the inside this week and then there will be a lot of inside finishing up work going on. Rob told me yesterday that he thinks we won't move in until the first of May. I really hope it isn't that long but oh well, we will just have to wait and see.

Last Sunday we went and walked on the trail by Legacy Highway. It was very nice and a lot of fun, we just wished that we had our bikes! This warm weather is so great and we have loved playing outside in it.
Here is a great picture of Jack and his cousin Henry. They are best of friends and best of fighters!

Air Force Museum

We went up to the Air Force Museum on Saturday to see some of the cool planes they have up at Hill Air Force Base. One of the best things about this place is that it is free!:) Can you spot Jack and I under the big cargo plane?
Jack with his cousins Sam & Henry.
Here he is in a fighter plane pilot seat pretending to eject! Actually I don't think he knows what that means, it was just something to climb on to him!

The Treehouse Museum

Last Friday Jack and I went up the the Treehouse Museum in Ogden with some friends. It was a great place and Jack had a lot of fun. In the middle of the museum there is a big tree that you can walk up and get to the second level and then they have all of these different stations all over on both floors with fun things for the kids to do and dress ups at each station. The train area was one of Jack's favorites and we probably spent most of our time there.
There was a science area and Jack loved looking under the microscope at a dandelion seed.
Here he is driving the fire truck.
We also spent a lot of time in the school house with Jack writing with chalk, he loves that and wanted to take the chalk out of the school house and draw on the floor like he does at his Aunt Nikki's house.
We had a great time and hope to go again soon.

Going to Work

Jack declared to me yesterday that he was going to go to work, and that he was going to drive himself to work. Here he is starting the car, pretending of course he doesn't really have the keys.
There he goes.
And going with Jack along to work were Sally & McQueen.

Cars in the Garage

Jack loves his cars, and he has a lot of them. He also loves us to take pictures of his cars and this was his favorite car of the moment when Rob asked him to choose one.
A couple of weeks ago I was doing something in the house and I came into the kitchen to find Jack stacking some of his cars on these little shelves in our kitchen. He had been working on it for quite a while and when I asked him what he was doing he said that he was putting his cars in the garage. So cute!

And The Call Is....

My parents have been called to serve as Mission Presidents for the Church and for the past couple of months we have all been waiting to hear where they will be serving. I know how anxious I have been to find out so I can't even image how anxious my parents have been. Their call came on the same day that Will was born, it was a busy day. That night those who were in town met up at Ally's hospital room, she was such a sport, and my parents opened the letter to see where they were going to be spending the next 3 years. And the letter said.....SPAIN BILBAO MISSION!! They are over the moon excited, and I am over the moon excited to go visit them in Spain! They will be leaving on June 29th and it will come fast.
Here they are with baby Will (about 3 hours old), and the mission call - what a day!

President's Day in Eden

We had a great weekend up in Eden with our Christiansen family, aren't we a nice looking group?!:) (l to r Dad, Mom, Jeni, Dave, Rob, Me, Jack, Rich, Em, Ryan, Stephanie, Steven) Ryan and Emily came in from So. Cal, and the boys came up from Provo, and we just had a fun time together. I have never been skiing with the Christiansen family so it was a lot of fun to do that together. Friday the boys went skiing and it was a fun day, and then Saturday the whole group went and it was snowing a lot. We had a great powder day, it was just awesome!
You can see how snowy it was on Saturday, these guys look pretty cold!
Bob & Shannon watched Jack during the day and then brought him up to us in the afternoon to ski. It was still pretty snowy so he didn't love the snow hitting his face, but we took a few runs with him.
Overall it was just a very fun weekend, and we were able to get out before Eden recieved 3' of snow on Tuesday.
