Adios Amigos!

The day has come and my parents are off on an adventure for the next 3 years in Spain. It was an emotional day for everyone but along with the tears a lot of happy feelings of new things to come for all of us!

Clegg Family Pics

This past week has been full of Clegg Family fun. My brother Garrett & his family were in town and we all just spent a lot of time together before my parents leave for the next 3 years. I have posted the family pictures that we took. I didn't have a picture of my youngest brother Zach and his wife, their pictures were on a different camera, but I don't think they read this blog regularly so I will just hope they don't notice!:) Above is the whole gang!
My parents! They are ready and excited to go. I think all of us just do our best to not think about the fact that they really are leaving.
Rob, Jack, & I.
My sister Nikki and her husband Matt and their kids, Ellie, Annie Kate, & Henry.
My brother Garrett and his wife Rachael. Their kids Brady, Grace, & Sophie.
My sister Ally her husband John, and their kids Will & Sam.
Just a cute picture of some of the cousins.

Memorial Day

We had a fun weekend at the cabin with some of our family. We took the 4-wheelers up into the mountains and had a picnic and rode around a little bit. We also played sardines with the kids which they loved!
Henry and Jack hiding!
Jack didn't want to look at the camera but he had a great time with Rob on the 4-wheeler.
Gramma Annie with Ellie, Henry, & Jack. We had a fun weekend of wearing our pj's all day, watching movies, riding bikes, making smores, throwing sticks in the river, it was great!!

Oh My!

So really the only shocking thing about this picture is that it is only 9 in the morning and my son is eating an ice cream bar. Some days I try and some days I just don't have it in me.

A Day With Thomas

Last week Jack and I went up to spend a day with Thomas the Tank Engine. We had a fun day with our friends Jodi & Luke riding on Thomas, playing at the different booths that they have set up. Here is a picture of Thomas coming in from one of his rides.
Jack and Luke riding on the train. It was incredibly slow but they boys thought it was a lot of fun so it was all worth it!
The boys in front of another of the many trains around the area.
Here is Jack playing with some of the toy trains that they had set up for the kids. He really didn't want to leave this area.
They also had a lot of bubbles for the kids to play with and once again Jack had a hard time leaving this part as well. We had a great day and ended up by having lunch in Heber City at the Dairy Keen, which for those of you have not been there is a train themed locally owned fast food restaurant. I have only been there a couple of times but I think that my favorite thing about this place is the fact that they have 2 ice machines one with cubes and one with crushed. For those of you who share my love of crushed ice you will appreciate that!:)

I Think I Am Going to Make It!

It has been pretty touch and go around here with my sanity lately but I think I am going to pull through. Our new house passed the inspection today WAHOOOOOO! We should have permanent power tomorrow, and the water turned on today or tomorrow and the house is being cleaned so it actually feels like a house and not a total junk pile from all of the messy, messy, messy sub-contractors. I still don't have grass outside so it looks a lot less done than it really is, but our landscape guys has assured me that the sod will be going in on Friday when we move in. (I think I will be shocked if that happens, but I will hope for the best) Building a house has been a very big learning experience and not as terrible as I anticipated it to be. These past few weeks of getting all of the final issues taken care of has driven me crazy, but hopefully soon it will all be worth it!

We Love Jeni!

The past week has been a big one from Jeni! It was Jeni's birthday on April 30th and she was generous enough to let Jack help her blow out her candles!:) On Monday Jeni also defended her theses and Rob and I went to hear her and she did GREAT!! She passed, of course she did I never thought she wouldn't, and she is graduating this Friday with her Masters Degree in Geography and we could not be more proud!:) We love you Jeni!
