Christmas Day

Christmas morning is always so fun and it keeps getting better each year! Jack was so excited and Cam is starting to understand a bit more so we had a fun time with the boys. Rob actually did all, well 95% of the Christmas shopping this year so that was fun for me. They boys were very happy and had a great morning.
They each received a new nerf gun, watch out!

Jack showing us how he is going to be carrying his new tennis racket.
I just loved them both posing with their new toys!
Even Bitty had a nice warm morning sitting on top of the heating vent, her favorite spot!

After our Christmas morning, and a nice meeting at church we headed out to be with family at Nanna & Grandads. Jack and Rob brought the legos and spent many hours just building!

Christmas Eve

I don't have too many pictures from Christmas Eve but we had a really fun day. We spent the morning at home having a nice time together. We ate scones and just played some games together. We then headed out to Nanna & Grandad's house for the 3rd annual cookie contest! One of their great neighbors came over to judge and our cookies, a white choc. chip gingersnap cookie won second place!:) We then went over G&G Flandro's for the annual Christmas Eve celebration. It was fun to be with family, it was huge group this year, and to listen to everyone playing their instruments. Rob and Jack played their trumpets and along with the others and it was so much fun to watch. We then hurried home and the boys were anticipating opening one present before they went to bed. Jack got some awesome transformer pj's and Cam love, love, loves, his Elmo jammies. They headed off to bed just waiting to see if Santa was going to come!:)

Christmas Outfits

Just some cute shots of my cute boys in their Christmas Sunday outfits. They were excited about the bow-ties!:)

I Am Two

So please forgive me as I catch up on my blog! Cameron turned 2 on December 18th and I can't believe how the time has gone by. Cam is such a joy in our home and I can't imagine our lives with out him. He is funny and loves to make us laugh, he loves his brother Jack and just wants whatever it is Jack has. He is talking a lot and knows his colors very well. He is getting taller by the day and is able to do so many new things. He is jumping off everything and is at the stage where he usually ALWAYS has a bruise or two on his head. He loves Star Wars, due to his older brother's love of it, and he also loves Cars 2, Elmo, & Mickey Mouse. He is a great eater and will always try new things. Basically he is one great boy!:)

Here he is opening up a present from Nanna & Grandad.
We had Mickey Mouse cupcakes!:) They were fun to make and Cam loved eating them. Success!:)

The Storm

The storm that came through our area on December 1st, was just crazy. It was a hurricane! It was quite the experience and these are just some of the photos.
This is on the south side of my parents house. There was a tin shed from a neighbors yard that was hurled at their house. You can see how the shed ended up.
We had some new trees in our yard and they were blowing in the wind and we attempted to stake them down and the wind was just laughing at our attempts so Rob had the great idea to tie it to the car. It worked and made for a lot of comments from the neighbors.
I think one of the most amazing things from this storm were the amount of people who came together to clean up the debris. There was another storm that was heading in and so they even cancelled church all over the area so that we could go help our neighbors clean up. It was great to be a part of. There is a lot of damage not so much to our place but there were a lot of lessons learned.

Thanksgiving 2011

Thanksgiving 2011....Roadtrip!!
We left Utah and headed to Pullman Washington to spend the holiday with my brother and his family. It was our first real road trip with the boys and they did great. Minimal fighting, only one spilled drink, and no speeding tickets!
Garrett getting the turkey ready! Garrett & Rachael did a great job cooking the Thanksgiving meal. The only small disagreement between Garrett & I revolved around stuffing but I won't say anymore.;)

We also went on a Christmas cruise on Lake Couer d'Alene. They boys had a great time seeing Santa and writing letters while we were on the boat. It was a lot of fun and very memorable.

Cam enjoying some fun jello on Thanksgiving. Sorry about the out of order pictures.
We went to the WSU girls volleyball game. Well the Dad's took the kids while the Mom's went to see a movie!:) Thanks guys!
Brady and Cam playing on the couch.
Checking out the golf practice area.
Enjoying some ice cream treats.
And one of the other reasons for heading up to Washington was to bring Bitty back to our house. We had a great trip and so much fun with our family. It was a great Thanksgiving weekend!
